Cinnamon Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 cup Organic Sugar
  • 2 cup Whipping Cream
  • 4 sticks Cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions:

  1. Heat milk with cinnamon over medium heat, simmering for 10 minutes, remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Strain milk and return to pot.
  3. Heat 1 cup or whipping cream with the milk over low heat until it just reaches a simmer, turn off and set aside.
  4. In a mixing bow place egg yolks and sugar, either by hand or on low-medium (level 2) mix until well blended.
  5. While continuing to mix add the seasoned milk and cream mixture.
  6. Transfer back to the pot and over low heat, with constant stirring, bring back to a simmer, then remove from heat.
  7. In a 4+ cup container stir all ingredients together, then refrigerate the batter for 24 hours.
  8. Following the instructions on your ice cream maker. ripen the ice cream in the freezer for another 24 hours.
